At First English Lutheran Child Development Center we are always proud to show new folks around our center! Our goal for each tour is to take the time to not only show you our recently renovated child care facilities, but also to get to know your family. We are enrolling children ages 6 weeks to 5 years and are ready to share each step of our child developmental process and our learning environment.
We encourage you to take a tour of FELCDC before joining the waitlist (below), just to make sure we are a fit for your child and family. Please contact us to schedule a tour that best suits your schedule.
The waitlist for the younger classrooms, including the infant and toddler care programs, is traditionally longer than the older classrooms, so we encourage you to place your child on the waitlist as early as possible.

“There is no place like First English Lutheran Child Development Center. Our oldest son attended from 18 months until he started kindergarten. Seven years later when we were pregnant with his brother — we reached out to secure his spot. The experience has been just as magical the second time around. LaQuetha is an incredible director — and many staff members and teachers have been there since our oldest attended. The communication, pictures and daily updates for parents through the daycare app keep us informed, and I wish I was lucky enough to eat the daily meals and snacks prepared by Chef Jennifer. “Where else can you find a full day preschool program in a homey, nurturing central Austin environment AND have all your meals taken care of by a fabulous on-site chef? Our twins have begun their 3rd year at First English and we couldn’t be happier. The staff is amazing and the school definitely benefits from the talent pool at nearby UT. They offer fun enrichment programs like tumbling, dance, soccer, and music. The vibe is definitely ‘Austin.’ The size of the school, around 60 kids total starting at 18 months, is just the right size to keep it interesting for the kids and yet still allow all the kids to all know each other. Affordable Child Care Austin, TX
We understand that child care is expensive and First English Lutheran Child Development Center strives to keep our daycare affordable and tuition as low as possible to be able to serve our entire community. Our tuition is competitive with other full day daycare programs in central Austin. Our free meal program also provides relief for families who do not have the time or resources to prepare nutritional snacks and lunches each day.
